Shipping & Returns

Returns Policy

If you should have a problem with any purchase, please email us or call us at 540-896-5910. If you should find it necessary to return anything, please log into your account and click on the Returns tab under the Account Settings. From there you can select the part in question and request a return. A copy of the returns procedure to follow is also included with the invoice included with your original shipment.

All claims for shortages must be made within 48 hours of receipt of shipment. 

No returns will be accepted after 30 days of date of receipt without an invoice. Absolutely no returns after 120 days from date of purchase, regardless of reason, unless covered by an extended warranty.

All returns after 30 days are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Auto Krafters’s liability is limited to the replacement of the product or refund of the purchase price. Installation labor or shipping charges are not refunded.

Returns are refunded only – no exchanges or store credit. Refunds are issued within 7 days of receipt of the returned part.

We will accept returns on NEW, uninstalled parts only. Once a part has been installed, it is no longer returnable.

Special-order items are not returnable unless defective. Defective electrical parts will be replaced only.

Unauthorized or COD returns will be refused.




Shipping

There is a $16.95 flat shipping fee that will be added to ALL INTERNET ORDERS within the continental US and shipped via UPS or FedEx only. Oversized and special items may require additional charges such as truck freight fees or a box fee. You will be notified of any of these charges before your order is shipped. Please note that your order must be placed and fully processed online (not phoned in, mail order or faxed, even if using the PDF order form). Please note that if you print your order from the online order form and mail it to us with a money order or check, it is NOT considered an INTERNET ORDER. Most orders are shipped via UPS or FedEx within the continental US. Please furnish a complete street address, as UPS cannot deliver to a post office box number. We reserve the right to ship extra-heavy or oversize shipments (hoods, fenders, and quarter panels, for example) via freight collect.

Please check all truck shipments for damage before signing the bill of lading. Once truck shipments are signed for, no claims can be made for damage.

Some parts require additional shipping charges. Fragile items, such as mouldings, will be shipped in PVC tubes and will require a $15 handling fee. All oversized items and some other fragile items including sheet metal will incur a $10 boxing fee where applicable. Please inquire about additional shipping charges when ordering.

All foreign orders (except Canada) must ship to a U.S.-based freight forwarder. The customer is responsible for all arrangements with the forwarder, as well as all import duties, taxes, paperwork, customs brokerage fees, etc.

NOTE: We use Ford-type part numbers on our site for reference only. Most parts listed are quality reproductions of the originals and are NOT genuine Ford.

NOTE: If you are a tax-exempt customer, we must have a copy of your tax exemption on file BEFORE you place an online order.
We cannot refund taxes retroactively.

NOTE: We do not ship to countries outside the continental US, except for Canada.
All other buyers in other foreign countries must use a US-based freight fowarder.
The buyer is responsible for arranging the forwarding of their own orders to their country.
