Fits 1954–56 Ford Y-block engines with Ford distributors.

Replace your old mechanical ignition with this PerTronix® Ignitor® electronic ignition and never have to change points again! This unit delivers twice the energy of conventional ignition systems and has no moving parts that can fail. Fits entirely inside the distributor for a "stock look" – no unsightly "black boxes" under the hood. Easy to install. Legal in all 50 US states and Canada.

NOTE: Ignition Power Relay number IPR-FORD is recommended for all Ford Ignitor® systems.

NOTE: Electrical parts are non-returnable once installed. We will replace defective units only.
