13-gallon polyethylene rear main fuel tank. For use in 1970 without EV-EM (Evaporative Emission).

One-piece construction without welds or seams to fail. Lasts a lifetime. Made in the U.S.A. Now has six threaded metal inserts molded into the tank around the sending unit and six tabs with bolts are used to hold the lock ring down on the sending unit. This allows even pressure in six places to effect radial compression on the gasket under the sending unit.
