This ABS plastic fan shroud is engineered to replace the original steel fan shroud and provide more airflow and greater cooling efficiency than the original thin factory shroud. Its improved design features a special flanged edge that creates structural strength not offered through previous reproductions. The original metal shroud is less than two inches in depth; this all-new, thicker shroud is a full 3-1/4" deep, which greatly increases cooling efficiency.
May require minor trimming on cars with power steering and air conditioning.
Must use stock 17" fan blade.
Cannot be mounted directly to a radiator.
If you do not have brackets, you must also order 4 of bracket number C3DZ-8149B.
